Project Overview
We are pleased to invite you to submit a proposal for consulting services! Mountain State Montessori has been awarded an ARC Power Planning Grant to develop a comprehensive plan for expanding our early childhood education program. We seek a qualified partner to develop this plan, which will include--among other things— securing our existing site or a new site. The contractor will also write a subsequent ARC Power Implementation Grant application, the purpose of which will be to fund the plan developed.

Scope of Work
We seek a qualified partner to develop this plan, which will include:

1. Steps to secure our existing site or a new site.
2. Enhancing organizational operations and fostering long-term stability.
3. Creating a financial model that outlines steps for expansion, calculating costs and determining enrollment
   numbers needed for adding classrooms.

As well, project deliverables include drafting the next ARC Power Implementation Grant full application to secure
funds to implement the expansion plan. Additional information on ARC Power grants can be found here.

Qualifications
The contractor must meet the following criteria:

1. Proven experience in creating practical strategic expansion plans.
2. Demonstrated success in delivering similar consulting services.
3. Knowledge and expertise in working with nonprofits and education (licensing/operation guidelines, WV
   state laws, 2 CRF 200 guidelines, etc.)
4. Preferred knowledge and experience with Montessori Pedagogy.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. References from previous clients or projects.

Proposal Submission Requirements
Proposals should include:

1. Your relevant experience and ability to complete this project.
2. Professional references speaking to your ability to handle a project of this scope.
3. A rough timeline and proposed budget (not exceeding $62,500).

Selection Process
Following the submission deadline, Mountain State Montessori will review proposals and may conduct interviews or request additional information from shortlisted parties. The selected consulting firm will be notified by December 31,
2024. Please note this is a grant-funded flat salary of $62,500 for the completion of the project. There are no additional funds available at this time. We require a hard deadline for project completion of September 15, 2025. We look forward to receiving your proposal and potentially working together to achieve our project objectives.
