Early Elementary – Ages 6-9
We challenge each and every child at his or her own level. In our Early Elementary program, students are given the time, resources and materials they need to master material if it proves difficult for them. Advanced students are presented with appropriate challenges to excite their minds. All students are inspired to learn about their world. There is no curriculum ceiling at NRGLC; we have no bored students.

Upper Elementary – Ages 9-12
The Upper Elementary curriculum is designed to be responsive to the social, emotional, and academic needs of students ages 9-12 years old. Developmentally, children this age become stronger abstract thinkers and the curriculum continues to accommodate their developmental changes. As their competency and capacity for independence grows, Upper Elementary students take on more responsibility for their studies. Learning life skills such as time management and project planning are woven into their daily routines. Students arrange their own field trips, make decisions about research topics, and maintain the atmosphere of the classroom, all under the watchful eye of the lead guide.
